Esta co-produção entre estúdios Polacos, Britânicos e Noruegueses é até hoje a mais longa curta de animação a ganhar esta distinção. Suzie Templeton apresenta aqui uma genuína obra prima onde a soberba qualidade da animação, as marionetas realistas e os cenários de tirar a respiração levam-nos para uma Rússia fantástica e surreal. Fugindo ao conto original onde o Lobo é aprisionado num Jardim Zoológico, temos aqui um final um pouco mais feliz que vos vou deixar descobrir por vós próprios.

This ambicious adaption of the homonymous classical musical masterpiece by Sergei Prokofiev (1936) won in 2007 the Grand Prix at Annecy aswell as the coveted Oscar for the best short animation film. This Co-production between Polish, British and Norwegian studios is until today the longest short film to win this award. Suzie Templeton presents us with a genuine master piece where the superb quality of the animation, the brilliant life like puppets and the breath taking sets takes us to a fantastical and surreal Russia. Different from the original story where the Wolf is held captive in a zoo, this short film ends on a lighter note that i will leave to find out for yourselfs.
